6.0  AFC Board Installation:   If you are installing a new board in an AFC3 Chassis, this information may help.  AFC3 Board Installation

7.0  Adjacent Channel Interference:  In installations where adjacent channels or high level RF interference is interfering with the reception of the desired channel, a narrow reject filter may be necessary at the antenna input.  There are notch, and also high pass and low pass filters available.  One supplier we know of is ChrisScott and Associates    www.scott-inc.com  You will need to know the interfering signal frequency.

8.0  Receiver Interference:   Receiver interference is usually related to distance from the transmitter.  The farther the distance, the more likely interference will be present from higher power or closer stations.  Our receivers have excellent rejection and sensitivity, but even 80 dB rejection can be overcome if the receiving antenna is located at or near the site of a high power transmitter and antenna.  The solutions require physical separation of antennas and perhaps notch filters at the receiving antenna input.  In some translater applications, the receiver is located in the same rack as the transmitter.  Again, the best way to reduce interference is to get as much physical separation as possible.  Removing the receiver from the rack and moving a few feet away may be all that is necessary.  As always, good grounding techniques are also required.
